Usage Instructions

Before first use (and regularly thereafter), please disassemble all parts of the bottle and sterilize them. You can boil the bottle, nipple, and other accessories in water for 3-5 minutes to sterilize them. Make sure all components are completely submerged in water during sterilization. Alternatively, you can use methods such as steam sterilizers, microwave sterilization bags, or UV sterilizers for sterilization according to the instructions. Note: Before sterilizing, make sure to thoroughly clean the bottle and accessories with warm water and soap and rinse them well. After sterilizing, place all components on a clean drying rack to air dry for later use.

When replacing the nipple, first make sure that the bottle is clean and not hot to the touch. Unscrew the bottle cap ring and remove the old nipple. Pull the new nipple through the cap ring opening from below and straighten it upwards until the bottom of the nipple is fully inserted into the cap ring groove. Please ensure that the nipple is correctly installed to prevent leakage. For hygiene and safety reasons, it is recommended that the nipple be replaced approximately every two months. If you find signs of aging or damage (such as cracks or thinning) on the nipple, it should be replaced with a new one immediately. It should also be sterilized before first use.

We do not recommend using a microwave to heat milk bottles directly. Microwave heating can cause dangerous “hot spots” in milk or formula, where the liquid is very hot in some places while other parts remain cold, which could burn your baby. The correct method is to soak the filled milk bottle in a bowl of warm water, or use a bottle warmer with a constant temperature to heat the milk. Gently shake the liquid in the bottle after heating, and be sure to test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding to ensure that the milk is at a safe temperature. (Empty bottles or parts should not be heated in the microwave).

Absolutely. Our bottles, nipples, and all components can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher. We suggest placing small parts such as pacifiers and vent valves in a special dishwasher basket and placing them in the top rack for cleaning to prevent them from falling to the bottom of the dishwasher. Please use a mild dish detergent and select the normal cleaning cycle. Avoid using high-temperature sterilization cycles to prevent some components from becoming deformed due to heat. After cleaning, wait until all components are completely dry before assembling and using them. (If you do not have a dishwasher, using warm water and washing the bottles by hand with detergent is also an effective method).

Materials & Safety

FISH baby bottles are made from high-quality, safe materials that are suitable for infants and young children. Our plastic bottles are made from durable, food-grade polypropylene (PP), while our glass bottles are made from high-quality borosilicate glass – all materials are 100% BPA-free. All parts that come into contact with milk or food, including bottles, nipples, bottle caps, and any airway or straw components, are free of harmful substances such as BPA, BPS, and phthalates. Feel free to breastfeed your baby. The pacifier is made of soft medical-grade silicone, which is also a safe, BPA-free material. All of our materials comply with international food safety standards for infants and young children, and no harmful chemicals leach from our bottles, making them very safe for children to use.

Both types of bottles have their own advantages, and both are safe for infants as they are made from high-quality materials. Glass milk bottles have stable chemical properties and do not contain any chemicals that may leach out—they do not absorb the color or smell of food and can withstand high-temperature sterilization without being affected. Many parents choose glass because it does not contain the chemicals found in plastic. Glass milk bottles do not scratch easily and can maintain their transparency even after prolonged use. However, glass milk bottles are relatively heavy and may break if dropped, so extra care must be taken when using them. (Some glass milk bottles on the market come with silicone protective caps for added stability and protection). Plastic milk bottles (made of PP material) are lightweight and do not break easily, making them more convenient to carry outside the home and more suitable for infants to gradually learn how to hold their bottles themselves. Modern plastics that meet infant use standards, such as the PP material we use, do not contain harmful substances such as BPA and are extremely safe. There is no need to worry about harmful substances leaching out during normal use and heating. The disadvantage of plastic baby bottles is that they may become cloudy or scratched after a period of use and sterilization. Therefore, when you notice cracks or obvious wear on the bottle, we recommend replacing it in a timely manner. In general, glass milk bottles are completely safe and durable, but they are heavier and may break; PP plastic bottles are lightweight and safe (with the guarantee that they do not contain BPA).However, they need to be replaced regularly after prolonged use. You can choose based on your daily habits and personal preferences—both materials are recognized as safe options by parents.

After rigorous testing, you can rest assured. Every batch of FISH milk bottles must undergo strict safety and quality checks. Our products meet or exceed international safety standards for infant and young child feeding products set by various countries, ensuring that the bottles do not contain controlled substances such as lead and BPA. Each bottle is made from food-grade materials and undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure there are no defects. We have very high quality requirements—like other major brands, our testing for baby bottles is stricter than the minimum requirements set by the government. You can trust that FISH bottles have passed all the safety certifications required for sale in global markets, are safe and non-toxic, and can be used with confidence for infants.

Age Recommendations &Product Selection

We offer pacifiers with different flow rates (sometimes referred to as “grades” or pacifier sizes) to meet the needs of children of different ages and sucking abilities. Younger babies (newborns) should start with a low-flow nipple (usually called a Stage 1 nipple or “slow flow”), which has a small opening and a slow flow rate, making it easier for newborns to feed safely and reducing the likelihood of choking. As the baby grows and becomes more efficient at feeding, the nipple can be gradually replaced with a nipple with a faster flow rate. In general, when babies are around 3 months old, many of them can adapt to medium-flow (stage 2) nipples; and by around 6 months, most of them can use fast-flow (stage 3) nipples. Our pacifier grades are similar, for example: Grade I pacifiers are suitable for babies aged 0 to 3 months, Grade II pacifiers are suitable for babies aged 3 to 6 months, and Grade III pacifiers are suitable for babies aged 6 months and above. However, it should be emphasized that these monthly ranges are only general guidelines and may not necessarily apply to every child—you need to observe the signals your baby shows while breastfeeding. If your baby is unable to finish drinking milk for a long time, seems impatient and irritable during feeding, or falls asleep halfway through due to slow milk flow, this may indicate that they could try using a nipple with a higher flow rate. Conversely, if your baby is choking or Coughing or too much milk flowing from the mouth after changing to a faster flow rate indicates that the current nipple flow rate is too fast. When the baby has not yet adjusted, return to the slower nipple and try again later. In short, the flow rate of the pacifier should be adjusted flexibly according to the baby's comfort level and feeding rhythm.

It is best to choose a bottle with a suitable capacity based on the amount of food your baby eats and their age. We offer a variety of bottle sizes to meet the needs of different stages of growth. For newborns or young infants (0-3 months), a small bottle with a capacity of about 150 milliliters is usually sufficient. This type of bottle is lightweight and easy for babies to feed from. From around 3-6 months of age, infants increase the amount of milk they consume at each feeding. At this stage, a 250 ml bottle is recommended. For infants older than 6 months who have a larger appetite, larger bottles such as 300 ml (if available in our product line) can be used to avoid frequent feedings in the middle of a feeding. Please note that this is only a general guide—each baby's food consumption may vary. If your 2-month-old baby is still unsatisfied after easily drinking 120 ml, it may be time to switch to a larger bottle. Conversely, if your newborn drinks small amounts of milk at a time, they can also use a smaller bottle (or a larger bottle containing only partial milk) first. Always pay attention to the markings on the bottle (milliliters/ounces) to accurately prepare the appropriate amount of milk according to the baby's appetite.

We offer a variety of accessories and replacement bottles for sale. We understand that bottle components can be damaged or accidentally lost after prolonged use. You can purchase replacement nipples, leak-proof caps, bottle brushes, and other components for FISH bottles from our official website or authorized distributors. If you need nipples with different flow rates or have accidentally lost a bottle cap, you can easily purchase these accessories separately. Please refer to the “Accessories/Parts” section on our official website to find the corresponding bottle model. If you cannot find a specific accessory, please contact customer service for assistance. We will help you find and purchase the necessary parts so that you can continue using the bottle. (We recommend using official FISH accessories to ensure optimal fit and performance).

Many mothers consider storing expressed breast milk directly in the bottle to prevent spillage en route. Standard-gauge FISH bottles use universal thread sizes and can be connected directly to most popular brands of breast pumps on the market. In general, standard nipple bottles can be attached to breast pumps from brands such as Medela and Spectra, which have thread specifications similar to their bottle nipples. If you are using a FISH wide-neck bottle, you may need to use an adapter to connect some breast pumps due to the larger diameter of the bottle neck, or our brand's manual breast pumps will come with an adapter ring to allow the wide-neck bottle to be connected to the breast pump. We suggest checking the product details or consulting customer service before purchasing to determine if you need a specific breast pump adapter. In general, our milk bottles are well compatible with breast pumps, making it easy to pump milk directly. However, during use, it is still important to ensure that the interface is tightly closed to prevent leakage when pumping milk.

Some of our bottle models are equipped with detachable training handles (usually attached to medium and large capacity bottles to make them easier for older children to hold). Yes, these handles are detachable. The handle design can be attached to the neck of the bottle, can be secured when needed, and can be pulled off and removed directly when not in use. Removing the handle also makes cleaning and sterilization easier—it is recommended to remove the handle during cleaning/sterilization to clean it thoroughly. The handle is made of child-safe materials and has a smooth surface with no sharp edges. To use, simply place the handle clip around the neck of the bottle and press until you hear a click to ensure it is secure, then reattach it. (Note: Not all models come with a handle, please refer to the product description; if it is stated that it includes a handle, it will be provided in the package and the handle can be freely attached and removed).

We do not recommend using FISH nipples or bottle accessories with bottles from other brands (and vice versa). Our brand's nipples and accessories are specifically designed for FISH bottles to ensure a tight fit and good performance. The size or design of the thread on other brands of baby bottles may vary. If our nipples are used with other brands of bottles, leaks or abnormal flow rates may occur due to size incompatibility. Similarly, we cannot guarantee that nipples from other brands will fit our bottle spouts correctly. To ensure optimal use and avoid accidents, it is recommended to use FISH bottles with nipples and components provided by our brand. (If you must mix different brands in special circumstances, please be sure to test for leaks with clean water first. However, I would like to remind you again that this is not recommended by the authorities).

Shipping & InternationalOrders

Shipping costs depend on your country/region, the weight of the package, and the shipping method you choose. When you place an order on our website, the system will automatically calculate the exact shipping fees based on these factors during checkout. We strive to keep international shipping fees at a reasonable level. At the same time, we offer free shipping for eligible orders: when your order amount exceeds a certain amount, you will enjoy free standard shipping. For example, we often offer free shipping for orders over $50 (or equivalent). If your shopping cart total exceeds this threshold, the system will automatically waive the standard shipping fee. The minimum value threshold and countries eligible for free shipping may be adjusted. Please refer to the criteria currently listed on our official website or the “Shipping Information” page. If an order does not qualify for free shipping, the system will also clearly display the corresponding shipping charges before you proceed to checkout. If the order is heavy or requires expedited shipping, the cost may increase accordingly. We will not charge any additional fees; the shipping fees you pay are the standard fees charged by the shipping company. In addition, the page will display optional shipping options (standard, express, urgent, etc.) and their respective fees for you to choose from at checkout. In short, we offer free shipping for orders that meet the criteria. For orders that do not meet the criteria, the system will transparently display the shipping cost based on your shipping address and the method selected, so you can place your order with confidence.

Our product prices do not include import duties or value-added taxes that may be imposed in your country, as these fees are levied by local customs authorities. Whether you need to pay customs duties (and how much) depends on the customs regulations in your country/region and the declared value of the parcel. Many countries/regions do not impose any import duties on small parcels for personal use, while customs may impose customs duties or value-added tax on high-value orders or parcels from certain regions. Typically, if import taxes and duties are imposed, they must be paid by the recipient. This means that when your package arrives in your country, if there are taxes to be paid, the shipping carrier (or customs) will contact you to pay the corresponding fees. For example, in some countries, imported goods are subject to value added tax (VAT) or excise tax, and you may need to pay these fees during the clearance of your package. We will do our best to simplify the process: all necessary customs clearance documents (including invoices for the value of the goods) will be attached. with goods to help with smooth customs clearance. Currently, we do not pay these taxes and fees in advance on behalf of our customers to the destination country unless explicitly stated in a specific activity. If we launch activities such as “tax-inclusive delivery” for certain regions, there will be clear instructions on the website. If your order amount is below this threshold, you usually do not need to pay additional fees to receive your package. If in doubt, you can also consult your local customs or our customer service before placing your order. We understand that cross-border customs issues can be a little complicated, but we have to be honest: any import taxes imposed by customs are not included in the fees you pay us and must be borne by you. If necessary, please refer to the details we provide about shipping fees, VAT, and taxes in different regions.

International delivery times may vary depending on your country and the shipping method you choose. Generally, we will process and ship your order within 1-3 business days after it is placed (this is the time we need to prepare and package the goods). After shipping, standard international logistics typically take around 7 to 15 business days to reach most major countries. Please note that these are only average estimates, and some orders (especially those shipped to major cities or using shortcut routes) may be received earlier; However, parcels in remote areas may take up to 3 or even 4 weeks in rare cases due to factors beyond our control, such as delays in customs clearance in Shanghai. We also offer express delivery options for certain areas: International parcels can be delivered in approximately 3-7 business days using express delivery, but the shipping cost is relatively high. You can select this option when placing your order. You can view the available delivery methods (standard, express, etc.) and their corresponding estimated shipping times at checkout. Please also note that during holiday seasons or customs inspections, transit times may be slightly extended. But rest assured that once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number, and you can check the shipping progress in real time online. If you find that the delivery time of your package is unusually long, please feel free to contact us in a timely manner. We will help you check the status of your package to ensure smooth delivery of the goods.

Absolutely, we support international delivery. Currently, FISH standalone stations can ship to the Middle East and Asia. You can select your country of receipt when placing your payment order—if your country is listed, it means we can ship there. If it is not yet listed, you can also contact our customer service to confirm if there are any other shipping options. We work with trusted international logistics partners to deliver products to customers all over the world. It's worth noting that some remote areas or countries with special import regulations may have delivery restrictions or longer transit times, but we generally strive for global delivery. In short, no matter where you are, we will do our best to deliver our products to you! We are also constantly working to expand our logistics network. If you have any questions about your destination country, please feel free to contact customer service at any time for confirmation.
